FOR THE BRIDE:

How long does an appointment last?

We schedule bridal appointments for an hour and a half. We feel this allows the perfect amount of time to consult with your stylist, try on six to eight dresses and revisit your favorites. If you need more time, we are happy to schedule another appointment. Please arrive 10 minutes early so that you can fill out a brief form prior to starting your appointment.

How many people should I bring? 

Our private bridal suites comfortably hold four guests and that seems to be the magic number! Large groups tend to become overwhelming for a bride. However, we understand that some parties will be larger. Please let us know if you have additional guests and we can arrange extra seating in your suite.

Can I take pictures during the appointment?

We prefer that you do not take pictures while shopping with us. This is at each of our designers’ request. Thank you in advance for respecting their wishes. We have all of our designers listed on our website, and we encourage you to visit our site and follow the links for the designer to view amazing images of the gowns.

Do I need to bring undergarments to my appointment?

We recommend bringing a strapless bra and any other undergarments or shapewear that will make you feel comfortable.  

How far in advance do I need to purchase my gown?

We recommend purchasing your gown about nine months before your wedding.  This will allow plenty of time for gown production, shipping, fittings and alterations. Of course, we can always work with the designer to rush a dress for shorter time frames.

What is the price range at your store?

We have gowns ranging in price from $1,000 to $6,500. Just let us know the range where you feel the most comfortable and we will take care of the rest!  

How do I purchase my dress?

After you've found "the one" and decide to purchase your gown, we ask for a 50% nonrefundable deposit. When your gown arrives, we will call to let you know it's here. The remaining balance is due 10 days after the dress is received. We accept cash, checks and all major credit cards! 

What if my dress needs alterations?

Alterations are a very important step in the wedding dress process. Nearly all bridal gowns need alterations, and you can expect to pay approximately $300-$600 for this service. While we don't offer alterations in-house, we do have seamstresses we recommend. Call B|E at 913.256.5566 to find out more. Please note: You reserve the right to use the seamstress of your choice.

Do you offer a steam package?

Yes! We will gladly store your gown and steam it out for your big day as a part of our Steam Package ($90). This service offers peace-of-mind and convenience for the bride. Ask your stylist for details!

Do I need a final fitting?

Yes! After purchasing the gown and completing alterations, we will make an appointment where you will select accessories and go over any last details. It’s the icing on the wedding cake! We want you to feel absolutely fabulous on your wedding day.
